17A- Elevator Pitch

For this elevator pitch, I made sure to fix my posture and have better eye contact.  I also worked harder to convey the details of my business and give my personal background this time.  I look forward to getting more comfortable with this pitch and sharing it with others.

  1. Hey Emily,
You definitely improved on your second pitch. You did not look down and kept eye contact. Advice I would give you is to stand up because I think that would feel more natural and it is great practice. I also think you should dress up more business casual. Lastly, I would memorize your pitch. It would make you more confident and it would feel more natural. Overall, great job.

  2. Hi!
You seem more comfortable and confident in this second version of your elevator pitch. You spoke about your own personal experience with late night snacks, which provided a nice anecdotal aspect to your pitch. I agree with Monica in that dressing more business-like would add a level of professionalism to your pitch. The speed of your pitch is at a good level and it was easy to follow. Overall, great job with your elevator pitch!

  3. I think that you made some really good improvements to your original elevator pitch. You kept your eyes looking at the camera (person) which conveys confidence. Not to mention, I really enjoyed the personal reference to your experience with food options in Gainesville. It made me feel like you could relate to the problems that other people have. I believe you could improve by practicing your speech by standing and using some gestures. Without standing, it is harder to convey passion and connect with the person you are speaking too.
