18A- Custom Avatar
My prototypical customer has a busy schedule and is always on the go. She often likes to workout in the morning before classes and enjoys grabbing a quick bite to eat before hand. She lives in a new apartment near the downtown area and likes to walk around the restaurants on the weekends. Additionally, she tries to go out to celebrate her hard work with friends when possible. Since she is 21 and a junior, she is able to go out to bars but often gets hungry for a snack after. The potential customer is in need of a place to get comfort food in a relaxed environment with friends at late hours so that she is not forced to pay tip and expensive delivery fees. When she is not going out, she often likes to study and spend time with friends watching movies or just hanging out. The restaurant Stacked would come in handy on these nights as she gets hungry at night and is always looking for something to do. Additionally, she is very trendy and enjoys taking artsy pictures of different foods. Stacked will be set up in a way that is cute for brunch as well as different types of meals at all hours.
Your customer avatar is very detailed and it helps to put your market into perspective; it seems as though you put a lot of effort into creating such a realistic customer. I think that the customer you created in this assignment would definitely enjoy your business, as would others like her. By knowing who our customers are and what they like/dislike, we can create better and stronger businesses that are sure to reach an audience. Great post!

ReplyDeleteYour avatar does a good job of showing who your typical customer is. You went into great detail about your typical customer and it helped me picture her. Since you are a college student as well, you can target college students based on your experiences. You know what they like, so that is definitely a plus. My typical customer also relates to me and that helps me with my business plan. Good job!
I believe that your custom avatar is a great description of a potential customer for Stacked. However, I would have liked some more description regarding her spending patterns (budget, tendencies, etc). I think that this custom avatar would be a great customer for your late-night breakfast spot due to her fondness with going out at night. After a late night at the bars, there are very few options that provide what your business does. I also liked how you mentioned the delivery fees that are exponentially high during late night hours.
