23A – My Venture’s Unfair Advantage
- employees- A company would be nothing without its employees. Stacked would make sure to hire college students that are passionate about food and are able to work at a variety of hours with energy. The whole experience of building one's breakfast platter should be very exciting and it can only be made this way with the help of the passionate employees.
- food- Stacked will be known for its delicious food options and will require the freshest of ingredients as an important resource.
- machines- The company will need to acquire appliances that are able to cook the food in the most efficient manner.
- juices- It is important for Stacked to sell juices as well as unhealthy food to promote diversity and have options for everyone.
- furniture- I envision Stacked to have really cool trendy furniture for people to take pictures at. I even think that it would be awesome to have customized chairs shaped like eggs for people to sit inside and tables shaped like pancakes.
- connections in industry- I already have great connections from my family in the restaurant industry that can help me gain awareness and other resources for my idea.
- networking with local bars/clubs- I am able to easily reach out to bars and clubs in both Downtown Gainesville as well as Midtown to create deals for people that show their wristbands at the restaurant to get a special discount as a promotional deal and partnership.
- money- I already have a little money that I could invest into the restaurant from my job but definitely need a lot more to get it to be at the level that I desire it to be at.
- investments from angel investors- Money from investors will help me get great insight from business professionals as well as more funds to turn my ideas into actions.
- recipes- I love cooking and already have some great recipe ideas for parts of the breakfast platter as well as combinations that would go well together.
- social media- I really enjoy working on social media posts and would love to convey the restaurant in a positive light.
- Marketing- I have a lot of connections in the marketing industry that could help me come up with clever marketing campaigns.
- *****customers- I think that my customers are my most important resource because they are necessary to my business' growth.
This post is very detailed and thorough and it helps me to envision Stacked as a business in Gainesville. I agree that customers are a major part of many businesses, and am glad that you included them in your resource list. Hiring college students will help your customers to connect with your business and make them want to keep coming back. Great job with this assignment!
ReplyDeleteHey Emily,
ReplyDeleteYou have some great resources for your business. Having delicious recipes will keep your customers loyal to your business. Having connections in the restaurant industry is also a huge plus. You can get help from people you know and learn from them as well. Marketing is another big one and you said you have connections in that field too so that will help you too. Good luck!
Hey Emily, I think that you have some great resources for your late-night breakfast business concept. I think a resource that will be a tremendous amount of help will be the connections in your industry. Running a business in the food industry has many challenges that are unique to that specific industry. Your connections will help you avoid some of the shortcomings that new restaurants usually face. Customer loyalty is going to be an essential resource for your business. Gainesville has a lot of late-night food options, but customer loyalty will give you a constant stream of business.
